Level up! The kindly narrator is your friend. Vocabulary is basic and repetitious because it's for toddlers, and the stories are CUTE. I recommend this to parents in every language (except Korean, dagnabbit!).

Baby Bus
Characters dance and sing catchy tunes about stranger danger, safe pooping and the glory of China with surprisingly good music. Want to tell your kid not to play in the curtains? There's a song for that! Want to tell them not to run in the grocery store? Song! Make your mom a cup of tea because she works hard? Song! Almost anything you could want to say, from "clean your room" to "here's how to care for a baby" has a song. Also they sing Edelweiss, and if you think watching your child sing Chinese Edelweiss isn't worth hearing What Does the Fox Say 50 more times, the good news is you're wrong.
For you, the parent, Melnyks.com has free audio lessons with an adorable Russian man who sounds like Gru from Despicable Me, and there are a lot of them!
Rosetta Stone is glorious, but if you can't afford $6 a month, the Pimsleur audio program (the CIA's old standard) is available from a lot of libraries, and it's helpful if you're just starting out. Mango is available free through a lot of libraries and the MWR; not my go-to but it might be yours?
